- Grand Coulee, Oct 30 – Funeral services for Mrs Matilda Mabie, 35, who died in Mason City hospital Wednesday night following an illness of about a year, will be held Saturday at the Mason City Community church with the Mason City funeral home in charge. Burial will be in East Wenatchee cemetery.
Mrs Mabie is survived by her husband, Harold, and a daughter, 16, in Grand Coulee; her parents, Mr and Mrs John Foley, Quenermo, Kan; two brothers, John Foley, Ottawa, Kan, and Charles Foley, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs Bert Bulmer, Michigan Valley, Kan, and Mrs Vernie Barnhart, Grand Coulee. She was a member of the Baptist church.
