- Arch Madle, aged 82, of Route 1, Alpena, AR died Saturday, February 1 at his home. He was born July 28, 1909 at Compton, a son of George and Mary Rovis Madle.
He was a farmer and a resident of Boone County.
He was survived by his wife, Irene Mabee Madle of the home; two sons, Doyle Madle of Alpena and Gary Madle of Harrison; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, at Auman Church with Johnny Parton officiating. Burial was in Auman Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
Pallbearers were Bill Webb, Kenneth Bailey, Darrell Hulsey, Kreg Leefon, Bill Henson and Monty Madden.
