- Little Falls – Services will be tomorrow for Ludwig H Flaak, 70, of 24 Shady Lane, who died Saturday in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.
Mr Flaak was born in Germany and lived in Weehawken for 40 years before coming here several years age. He owned and operated a delicatessen and liquor store before retiring. He was a member of the Fritz Ruther Society and the Good Shepard Lutheran Church of Weehawken.
He leaves his wife, the former Harriet Mabie; a daughter, Mrs Andrew (Florence) Ruppert of Clifton; a sister, Mrs Ida Dreyer of Germany.
Services will be at the Norman A Parker Funeral Home with the Rev Henery Dierk officiating. Burial will be at convenience of the family.

- John Mabie, 64, owner of the Mabie Press in Goshen, died Monday at Arden Hill Hospital. A Goshen resident since 1935, he lived at 10 New Street in the village.
Born in Guttenberg, NJ, on Oct 5, 1909+, he was the son of John and Lydia Everett Mabie. He was married to the former Mildred Boehringer.
Mr Mabie, a World War II veteran, was a member of the Goshen American Legion Post No. 377 and Middletown Lodge of Elks No. 1097. He was also a member of several coin organizations. Survivors include his wife; one son, Warren of Goshen; one daughter, Mrs Carole Wilson of Middletown; two grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur of Teaneck, NJ, and Fred of Goshen; and two sisters Mrs Ella Bellobouno of West New York, NJ, and Mrs Harriet Flaak of Little Falls, NJ.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Donovan Funeral Home, with the Rev Douglas M. Glasspool officiating. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown

- Frederick (Chubby) Mabee, 62, of 1 Garden Terrace, died Tuesday at his home.
The son of John and Lydia Everett Mabie, he was born Dec 15, 1914, in West New York, NJ. He was a 45 year area resident.
Mr Mabie was a retired dispatcher for H. L. & F. Transportation Co, Goshen.
Survivors include his widow, the former Dorothy Boehringer; a brother, Arthur of Teaneck, NJ; two sisters Mrs Ella Bellobouno of West New York, NJ, and Mrs Harriet Flaack of Little Falls, NJ.
The Rev Douglas M Glasspool will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen.
Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery.
