- Funeral services for William Henry Maybee, a resident of Friendship for many years, will be held Friday afternoon (November 9, 1945) at two o'clock at the home here. The Rev Martz Snyder, pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Belfast.
Mr Maybee died at his home Tuesday (November 6, 1945). He was born in Allentown March 2, 1878, the son of Phillip and Lydia Maybee. He was a member of the Maccabees and the First Baptist Church of Friendship. Surviving are his wife Mrs Una Matthews Maybee, two sons, Guy L. Maybee, Olean and Paul Maybee Lancaster; one daughter Mrs Katherine Lehman, Belmont; and one sister, Mrs Elizabeth Weatherby, Oklahoma City, Okla

- Paul R. Maybee of 92 Sherman St., died Wednesday, May 9, 1973, at his home.
Born Jan. 8,1909, at Friendship, he was a son of William and Una Maybee. He was married at Belmont in 1963 to the former Patricia McCoy who survives. Mr. Maybee had resided in Friendship until moving to Belfast in 1969.
Mr. Maybee was a retired dairy farmer.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, are his mother, of Belfast; a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Katherine) Lehman of Belfast; a brother, Guy Maybee of Olean; and two nieces.
Funeral and committal services were held Friday, May 11,1978 at the Davis Funeral Home, Friendship with the Rev. Harmon Dickinson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Friendship, officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Belfast

- Mrs. Una E. Maybee, 97, died Tuesday, August 7, at Cuba Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
She was born Feb. 24, 1876, at Friendship, the daughter of Dana and Clara (Smith) Mathews.
She had resided in Friendship for 94 years and in 1970, moved to Belfast to make her home with her daughter.
She was a graduate of the Friendship Training Class of 1894 and taught school in various rural schools for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Friendship.
She is survived by one son, Guy L. Maybee of Olean; one daughter, Mrs. Catherine Lehman of Belfast; two granddaughters; and three great grandchildren.
Friends called at the Wolcott Funeral Home, Belfast, on Wed. 8c Thurs., where funeral services were held on Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. C. Harmon Dickinson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Friendship, officiating.
Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Belfast.

- Mrs. Katherine M. Lehman of Woodruff St., died Wednesday Aug. 31,1977 in the Cuba Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born Feb. 6, 1907 at Friendship, she was a daughter of William and Una Mathews Maybee. She had resided in Belfast prior to moving to Cuba three years ago. Her husband Arthur Lehman, died in 1968.
Mrs. Lehman was a licensed practical nurse having worked in Sonyea, Cuba and Angelica.
Surviving are a son, Arthur Lehman, Jr. of Alden; three grandchildren; and a brother, Guy L. Maybee of Olean.
Private funeral services were held at the Murken Funeral Home, Belfast on Friday Sept. 2, 1977. The Rev. Stephen Lipman, pastor of the Cuba Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport, Pa.
