- Orie Mabee died yeaterday [11 May 1937] at Veterans' Hospital, 130 Kingsbridge road, New York, after a long illness. He was born in the Town of Warwick, January thirty-first, a son of Benjamin F and Mary Decker Mabee. Mr Mabee had lived in Middletown twenty-four years. He was a tinsmith, and made his home at 157 North Street. He was a member of the American Disabled Veterans of Middletown.
Surviving relatives are three borthers, William of Newark NJ, Harold and Everett of Middletown, and a sister, Helen, wife of Russell H Carpenter of Middleton.
Funeral services qwill be conducted tomorrow at two o'clock at the Smith Funeral Home, twenty Grove street. The Rev William T Griffith will officiate and burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery.

- Harold Russell Mabee, who had conducted a trucking business in this area a numbat of years, died suddenly yesterday at his home in New Hampton.
Mr Mabee, a native of Amity, had spent nearly all his life in the Middletown area. He was a member of Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church, Shawangunk Fish and Game Association, and the County Seat Conservation Association of Goshen.
Born November twenty-first, 1890, he was a son of Benjamin P. and Mary Elizabeth Decker Mabee. He was married in Middletown June sixteenth 1915 to the former Minnie Madaline Holmbaker.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Harold Mabee, Jr and a grandson Harold Mabee, 3rd all at home; two brothers Everett of Middletown and William of Newark, N.J. and a sister, Mrs Russell Carpenter of New Hampton.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at Hasbrouck's Chapel here. The Rev. Alexander M. Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg
