Stamford, New York [5] |
- It is with sadness that we record the death of Mrs. Myron Maybie, which occurred about 6 a. m., November 2. She had been sick only since Saturday night. Her cheery smile and loving words will be missed not only by the family, but by the neighbors. She was ever ready to help in sickness. Her life, though only fiftyseven years, was a life of service to others, and our loss is her eternal gain. Her funeral was held at the home Thursday at 11 a. m., Rev. O. J. Smith officiating. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Paul Stryker, Mrs. Charles Collins. Miss Lavilla; one son, Raymond; two sisters, Mrs. Belton Wilbur and Mrs. Lewis Lounsbu'ry, and one brother, L. Blakeslee. Burial in Fairlawn cemetery at Prattsville.
