	CEDAR RAPIDS GAZETTE, Wednesday, 3 Feb 1926; "MRS. MARY ANTHONY; Mrs. Mary A. Anthony, widow of Charles F. Anthony, residing six and one-half miles southeast of Cedar Rapids, died in a local hospital at 4:45 a.m. today after a seven weeks' illness. She was born in Bohemia April 28, 1863, and came to America when 2 years old and settled near Cedar Rapids here she had lived since. Her husband died in 1908. She is survived by seven children: Charles J., Mrs. Clara Sellers, R. W., all of Cedar Rapids; G. W., on the homestead; R. E., Fred J. and James R. all of Omaha. She also leaves two brothers; Frank Safranek, of Cedar Rapids; Joseph Safranek, of Oelwein, and two sisters; Mrs. Fred Leo??, of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. George Dege, of Oelwein, besides sixteen grandchildren.
