- Fred A. Mabee of 22 Cambridge Avenue, White Plains, assistant superintendent of the White Plains Water Bureau, died yesterday in his home at the age of sixty-seven, after a brief illness. He was the father of Courtney Mabee of 36 West view Avenue here, news editor of the Eastchester Record, and the brother of Mrs. George Dunn of 133 Sagamore Road.
Mr. Mabee was a lifelong resident of White Plains and associated with the Water Bureau for 44 years. He was born March 19, 1885, son of the late Wilbur and Jennie Fisher Mabee and a descendant of Nathaniel Mabee. one of the settlers of Neuw Amsterdam, now New York.
Surviving too are his wife, Mrs. Harriet Williams Mabee; another son, Courtice H. Pearsall of Mount Kisco; another sister. Mrs. Griffith Ames of Lake Candlewood, Conn.; two grandsons , and a granddaughter
