- Margaret Mabey Moeller, 89, of Jerome, died Tuesday Jan. 6, 2004, at St. Benedicts Family Medical Center, Jerome, following a short illness.
She was born May 16, 1914, in Marion, the fourth of 10 children born to Thomas and Eliza Jones Mabey. She married Elmer Moeller on July 6, 1934, in Minidoka. Elmer and Margaret had three daughters. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities through out her life. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, walking and continued her daily walks as long as she was able. Margaret very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis (Wayne) Balderson of Escondido, Calif., Mary Fuller and Pam (Dennis) Moore both of Jerome; six grandsons, Rick and Scott Fuller, John, Brian, Robert and David Moore; two granddaughters, Shelli Demers, and Kimberly Broderick; and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Gwenna Rassmussen of Burley, and Oris Christensen of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer, on March 3, 1991; five brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral service for Margaret Moeller will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints First and Third Ward Building, at 825 East Av. "B", Jerome, by Bishop Mike Dixon. Burial will follow in the Jerome Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Hove Robertson Funeral Chapel and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the church
