- Smith Walton Mabee, 89, of 327 Germanla avenue, died yesterday in his home after several months illness. He had been in ill health since November.
The White Funeral Home, Scotia, will bo open tomorrow after 7 p.m. and the funeral will be conducted there Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Eric B. King of the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in the spring in Sweetman's cemetery, Charlton.
Mr. Mabee wna born In Glenville, Nov. 6, 1866. He had been employed as a machinist on the Boston and Maine Railroad about 40 years and retired 27 years ago. He and his wife, the former Daisy Whitehouse, had lived on Germania avenue for the last .10 years. He had been a charter member of the I Rotterdam Junction lOOF Lodge.
Survivors are his wife and a daughter. Mrs, Aaron J. Van Dyke of RD 2 Sacandaga. road, Scotia.

- Mrs. Daisy Whitehouse Mabee, 97, formerly of Germania Avenue, died yesterday after a long illness.
Born in Cohoes, she lived in this area most of her life.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Aaron J. Van Dyke; a sister, Mrs. Thomas C. Rain of this city, two brothers, Earl Whitehouse of Norwich and William Whitehouse of Utiea; and several nieces and nephews;
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the White Funeral Home, Scotia.
Burial will be at Sweetman Cemetery, Charlton, with the Rev. Leon Adkins of the First United Methodist Church, Scotia, officiating.
