- Mrs Elizabeth Mabie, 77, of 24 Vreeland Avenue, Passaic, widow of James C Mabie, died last night in her home. Born in Little Ferry, she had lived 42 years in Garfield and 23 in Passaic. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Garfield. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Adrianna Passage, Mrs Anna Grady, Mrs Nellie Templeton, and Mrs Eugene (Lillian) Dates, all of Passaic; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs Charles (Nellie) Detloff, of Mt Clemens, Mich.

- Mrs Anna Marie Mabie Grady, of 24 Vreeland Avenue, Passaic, widow of John W Grady and an employee of American Colortype Company, Allwood, died last night in Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic, following a brief illness. She was born in Garfield and resided in Passaic 35 years. Mr Grady died in 1935. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Hans (Emma) Scholtz of Passaic, a son John Grady of Garfield, two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Frank (Ida) Passage and Mrs Eugene (Lillian) Dates of Passaic, and Mrs Edward (Nellie) Lyons of Clifton; and a brother Peter Mabie of Clifton.

- Peter D Mabie, 69, of 11 Mayflower St, died Wednesday in Preakness Hospital after a long illness. Born in New Jersey, he had lived in Garfield before moving to Clifton 10 years ago and for the last four years he lived with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Chester (Catherine) Calvert. Mr Calvert is a member of the Clifton Board of Recreation.
Mr Mabie was employed as a machinist at the Manhattan Rubber Co, Passaic, for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St John's Russian Orthodox Church, Passaic; the Men's Club of the church, and the Manhattan Rubber Retirement Club.
Surviving in addition to his daughter, are his wife, Julia; two grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs Ida Passage and Mrs Nellie Lyons, both of Passaic, and Mrs Lillian Dates of Garfield
A funeral service will be held tomorrow.

- Passaic – Mrs Lillian M Dates, 64, of this city, died Monday at her home, after a long illness.
She was born in Garfield and was a resident of this city for the last 11 years.
Funeral services will be Thursday in the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Garfield, with the Rev Gordon Jewett, pastor of the Garfield Presbyterian Church officiation. Interment will follow in Lodi Cemetery.
Mrs Dates leaves her husband Eugene; a son Jacob Van Wyck of this city; a sister, Mrs Ida Passage of Clifton and five grandchildren.
