- William Mabye, a resident of Wokett, dropped dead this afternoon about 5:30 o'clock while mowing his lawn. He was around town as usual, and about 3 o'clock started home to mow his lawn. He was seen to fall by see of his neighbors, who summoned Dr. R. H. Walkins. Death was instant.
Mr. Maybe was about 54 years old. He leaves a wife, a son. Homer; a brother. George Maybe of Clyde, and
two sisters Ella Streeter of Rochester, and Eva of Port Bryon.

- This community was deeply shocked on Sunday evening of this week to learn of the death of Mrs. William H Streeter of Pine street, who died suddenly at her home at about 9 o'clock that night.
Mrs. Streeter had been in poor health for some months past, but on Sunday she appeared in fine spirits and her condition seemed to be improving. About 9 o'clock she phoned her husband who was attending his gasoline station, saying that she felt ill Mr. Streeter rushed to his home, after calling Dr. Goodwin of Weedsport. but Mrs. Streeter passed away within a very few minutes. Physicians state that her heart failed
Mrs. Streeter was very well known throughout this community; and her death is deeply mourned by. a host of friends who loved and respected her. A quiet woman, loving her home and family, the deceased will be sadly missed,
Surviving Mrs. Streeter are her husband. William H. Streeter, two sons. Frederick O. Streeter of this village, and J. Blane Streeter of Weedsport, one brother, George Mabie of Clyde, one sister, Mrs. Eva Gove of Wolcott, and four grand-children.
Private funeral services were held from the late home on Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Thomas L. Lusk, pastor of the local Baptist Church, officiating.
Bearers for Mrs. Streeter were Mr. Frederick Streeter, J. Blaine 8treeter Harry Guereari, Fred H. 8treeter, Irving Farrand and George Mabie. Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
