  	W. Homer Mabye, 71, retired farmer, died unexpectedly Thursday .morning, Sept. 14, 1961, at his home on West Port Bay Road, RD 2. Wolcott. He had lived on this farm in the Town of Huron for 40 years. Son of the late William and Eva Otis Mabye, he was born Feb. 2, 1890, at Wolcott. His wife. Jessie Mae Mabye, died Oct 16, 1958. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Abe Perechov of North Syracuse; a son, William George Mabye of Wolcott; and nine grandchildren. A service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Robertson Funeral Home with burial in Huron Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Clyde Hurlbutt, pastor of the North Wolcott Methodist Church, officiated.
