Powley died at home in Kingston, on Monday, August 8, 1994, Victor Powley, in his 87th year, beloved husband of Hilda Knowlton, dear brother of Mabel Moon, Deseronto; Roy and his wife Mary, Niagara Falls; Kenneth and his wife Alice, Odessa; Reginald and his wife Dixie, Vennachar; Rita and her husband Herbert Kellar, Newburgh; the late Fred and his widow Lorraine, Deseronto; and the late George and his widow Stella, Sydenham; also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid and Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson Street, (at Barrie) on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in "The Chapel on the Corner" on Wednesday, August 10, at 1:30 p.m. interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society would be appreciated by the family
