- Mrs Katherine G. Mabie, 62, of 4408 W. 64th, Prairie Village, a former first-grade teacher at Linwood School, died Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Hospital.
Mrs Mabei was graduated from the Kansas City Teacher's College in 1937 and had taught at Linwood 30 years before retiring in 196. She was a member of the National Retired Teacher's Association.
She was a member of the Prairie Village United Presbyterian Church. Mrs Mabie was born in White Hall, Ill., and had lived in this area since 1924.
He leaves a husband, Andrew R. Mabie of the home, and a sister, Mrs Jern A. Garich, Mequon, Wis.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Mount Moriah Chapel; Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
