  	Fred Maybee 86, of Marengo Township, died at Oaklawn Hospital at 10:40 a.m. Sunday where he was admitted Saturday. He has been ill for several years. He was born Dec 14, 1872 in Liberty, Mich., the son of Frank and Margaret (Hollenbeck) Maybee, and was married to Esther Hess on Jan. 31, 1925 in Marango Township. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Calhoun County Farm Bureau. Surviving are his wife and a brother Arthur, of Tacoma, Wash.
