  	Geraldine Mae (Metcalf) Maybie. Gerry Maybie passed away on August 30, 2012, surrounded by family. She was born on May 24, 1924, in Montrose, Colorado. She was a long-time resident of West Sacramento and lived in Carmichael and Sacramento for the past ten years. She is survived by her children, James Patrick (Shirley) Maybie, Michael (Tammy) Maybie, Mary (Michael) Boruff and Susan (Daniel) Milazzo; grandchildren, Shannon Maybie Bleeker, Joshua Branham (Kaylee Oswald), Amanda Branham, Sean Maybie, Robert Maybie and Dylan DeMars; and great-grandchildren Kevin Bleeker and Jackson Branham. Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Robert Maybie; parents, Fred Vincent Metcalf and Dora Lyle (Thompson) Metcalf; and siblings, Diane Copeland, Ted Metcalf, Sue Shuster and Hazel Shaw. She was a member of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit and Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, Post 8762. Friends are welcome to join her family in celebration of her life on Thursday, Sept. 6, with a visitation at 4:00 p.m. and rosary at 6:00 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 7, 10:00 a.m. funeral and graveside services, at the Sunset Lawn Memorial Park, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento.
