  	Winchester, April 14 – Charles B Mabee died Friday and was buried Saturday afternoon. Mr Mabee came to Monteagle from Canada when it was simply a small station called Moffet. He said he and his father were the first postmasters at Monteagle. His mother is still living, He leaves a wife, married son O C Mabee; two married daughters, Mrs Crawford Douglas, of Chattanooga, and Mrs Will Thompson of Bridgeport, and several unmarried children.
