- Funeral services for Mrs Albert Mabie, 79, of College Place, Wash, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Granton. Elder Wartzok of Madison, and Elder Albertson of Marshfield officiated. Burial was made in Windfall cemetery in Granton.
Pallbearers were her four sons, Donovan Mabie, Milo Mabie, Ernest Mabie and Ted Mabie, and her two sons-in-law, Louis Schetter and Howard Berger....

- Services were Saturday in Neillsville for Milo R Mabie, 72, who died Wednesday at St Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
He was born in Granton and married Leona Chase May 30 1937, in Neillsville. He operated a barber shop in Neillsville and was a veteran on World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cherl Holt, Black River Falls, Mary Jean Kroll, Neillsville , Kay Hagen, Big Bear City, Calif; a son Steve, Neillsville ; four sisters, Vesta Schwetter, Powell, Tenn, Irene Clark, Kalama, Wash, Carol Angel, Knoxville, Tenn; Adeline Berger, Wilson, Mich, three brothers, Donovan, Watertown, Ernest "Bud," North Freedom, Theodore, Escanaba, Mich.
Burial was in Neillsville Cemetery.

- Ernest E "Bud" Mabie, age 71, of Leland, died on Friday, June 8, 1990, at Maplewood Nursing Home. He was born in Granton, Wisconsin, on February 25, 1919, the son of the late Albert and Alatha (Davis) Mabie. He was married to Margaret Schuetter on February 11, 1945. Mr Mabie served with the Army during WWII, was a member of Kuoni-Reuter American Legion Post #167, and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Black Hawk. Mr Mabie was retired from Flambeau Products Company in Baraboo in 1986. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two sons, Ronald (Susan) of Cottage Grove, and Douglas (Linda) of Sauk City; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Michael, and Miles Mabie; two brothers, Donovan (Dorothy) of Watertown and Theodore (Lorraine) of Wilson, Michigan; and four sisters, Vesta Schuetter, and Irene Clark, both of Longview, Washington, Carolyn (Don) Angel of Kelso, Washington, and Adeline (Howard) Berger, of Wilson Michigan. He was preceded in death by a brother Milo
Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Black Hawk, on Tuesday, with Pastor Richard O'Neil officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery.
