- Services were Saturday in Neillsville for Milo R Mabie, 72, who died Wednesday at St Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
He was born in Granton and married Leona Chase May 30 1937, in Neillsville. He operated a barber shop in Neillsville and was a veteran on World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cherl Holt, Black River Falls, Mary Jean Kroll, Neillsville , Kay Hagen, Big Bear City, Calif; a son Steve, Neillsville ; four sisters, Vesta Schwetter, Powell, Tenn, Irene Clark, Kalama, Wash, Carol Angel, Knoxville, Tenn; Adeline Berger, Wilson, Mich, three brothers, Donovan, Watertown, Ernest "Bud," North Freedom, Theodore, Escanaba, Mich.
Burial was in Neillsville Cemetery.

- Services were held today for Leona A. Mabie, 71, who died Tuesday at the Neillsville Memorial Home.
Leona Chase was born in Neillsville where she married Milo Mabie May 30, 1937. She worked in the office of the Clark County Clerk of Courts for several years.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Holt, Black River Falls, Mary Jean Kroll, Neillsville, Kay Hagen, Big Bear City, Calif.: a son Steven, V; a sister, Muriel Kutchera, V; two brothers, Roy Chase, Neillsville, Joe Chase, Granton; and seven grandchildren. Spring burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery. The Gesche Funeral Home is in charge of details.
