- Frank Leslie Mabee of New York City, enlisted in the US Marine Corps on October 15, 1894, at Brooklyn New York. He was born in Boston, Mass on 25 Aug 1873. His right eye was blue, his left hazel, had brown hair, with a florid complexion, and was 66 ΒΌ inches tall.
He served on the USS Dolphin from 24 March 1898 to 20 Aug 1898. As a Private he participated in the bombardment of Santiago, Cuba on June 6th and of Guantanamo, Cuba, June 13, 1898. He was honorably discharged October 14, 1899 at the Marine Barracks, Brooklyn, NY, at the end of his enlistment with an excellent character.
