- Warren E. Mabie, aged 31 years, died at 1:45 p. m. Sunday at the home, 2614 Fourth avenue, death resulting from lung trouble and rheumatism.
Mr Mabie was born July 18, 1871, near Camden, N. Y. He removed to Green Valley seventeen years ago. He came to Moline last September and had been employed since then in the Moline Plow Co. Shops. He was married to Miss Daisy Jones at Green River, and she survives, with two children. The young man's father, T. O. Mabie , of Moline and a sister, Mrs Albert Kane, living near Green River, also survive.
The remains will be taken Wednesday to Colona and interment will be made in the Green River cemetery.

- Theron Orville Mabie, 86, who had resided with a grandson Edmund R. Mabie, East Moline, since 1920, died at 6:30 last evening in Moline City Hospital, where he recently underwent an operation.
Mr. Mabie was born in Albany, NY, August 23, 1847. He was the son of Stephen George and Phoebe Jane Robbins Mabie. He was married to Cora Kane at Taberg, NY December l, 1869.
Mr. Mabie moved to Green River, Ill. in 1886 where he engaged in the cheese manufacturing business until 1902. Since retiring from business, Mr. Mabie had resided with relatives, having lived with a daughter, Mrs. Albert Kane of Muscatine, until 1920.
Preceding Mr. Mabie in death were five brothers, Edmund Robbins Mabie, Franklin George Mabie, Orlando Edward Mabie, Augustus Smith Mabie and Clarence Gilbert Mabie; one sister, Mrs. Mary Theresa Parks, and one son Warren E. Mabie.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kane of Muscatine and five grandchildren. Thomas O. Mabie and Edmond R. Mabie of East Moline, Mrs. Cora Daniel, Mrs. Jessie Ehrlich and Carl Albert Kane, all of Muscatine, and four great-grandchildren, Amarillis and Theodore Orville Mabie, Marjorie Isabelle Bowen and Helen Jane Daniel of Muscatine.
The funeral was held at Wendt Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. M. Jones of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, East Moline.

- Funeral services for Albert Kane, 72, of 714 East Seventh street will be held Wednesday at the George M. Wittich Funeral home. The is at the funeral home and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Mr Kane, who died at Hershey hospital Sunday had been ill for two days. The son of Carl and Sora Ristau Kane, he was born Sept. 21, 1867 in West Prussia, Germany. He came to Coal Vally, Ill, from Germany in April 1873 and had been a resident of Muscatine for the past 25 years.
He married Miss Ada Mabie Nov. 21, 1897, at Genesceo, Ill. He was a member of the St Peters Evangelical church of Geneseo, Ill.
Surviving are the widow; one son, Carl Kane, Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs James Daniels of Wilton and Mrs Clarence Ehrlich of Muscatine; three brothers, two sisters and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, a son, three brothers and two sisters.

- Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Belle Kane, 85, of Covins, Calif., a former resident of Muscatine, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home by the Rev. C. R. Gesell.
Mrs. Kane died at 1:50 a.m. Friday al Inter - Community Hospital at Covina. Her body is to arrive at Muscatine Tuesday morning. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
She was born July 25, 1876 at Camden, N.Y., a daughter of Theron O, and Cora Cain Mabie. She was married to Albert Kane at Geneseo, Ill., Nov. 21, 1897.
After living here for a time, she left Muscatine in 1956 to make her home with a daughter at Covina.
Surviving are a son, Carl Kane of Mona, Nev., and a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Ehrlich of Covins. There are seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, a son and a brother.
