  	Mrs. Elizabeth Betts Mabie, aged 69 years, the aunt of Garrett Putnam Serviss jr., who died at the Mabie residence just six weeks ago, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon following a severe illness from the grip. Mrs. Mabie was born and had always lived in this city. She was married to John Mabie who died 16 years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Leola Mabie and one sister, Mrs. Anna L. Young of Binghamton. The funeral will be held from the family residence Sunday at 3 p. m., the Rev. C. W. Heizer officiating. Interment will be made in Lake View cemetery.
