- Norman D. Mabie, 62, of Concord, NH, died January 22, 2011 while snowmobiling in the Lakes Region. He was born March 25, 1948, in Portsmouth, NH, the son of the late Norman H. and Noreen (Bradford) Mabie. He graduated from Stevens High School in Claremont and had attended Keene State College.
Norman was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and has resided in Concord the past 27 years having come from Manchester. He had been self-employed in kitchen design before becoming president and owner of Remod Co, Inc. His passions were fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and motorcycles. He had attended St. Pius X Catholic Parish and was a member of Circle National Club. He was preceded in death by his son, Norman Michael Mabie in 2006.
His family includes two brothers Richard K. Mabie, of Pembroke and Van A. Mabie, of Manchester, his sister Christine Sargent of Manchester, lifelong friend Barbara J. (Miller) Mabie of Concord, Many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Catholic Parish, 575 Candia Road & Sarto Street, Manchester. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester

- Norman M. Mabie, age 19, of Manchester, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 after a snowmobile accident on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Mr. Mabie was born on July 21, 1986 in Manchester, the son of Norman D. and Barbara J. (Miller) Mabie. He attended Manchester schools and graduated from Central High School in 2004. He was currently attending Daniel Webster College in Nashua, majoring in aviation. He was a licensed single engine pilot that aspired to become a commercial airline pilot. During summer school breaks he worked at Miller Engineering and Testing. He enjoyed many hobbies in life such as: snowmobiling, fishing, boating, computers, football, traveling, flying, and his many friends. He was confirmed at and attended St. Pius X Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents; Norman D. Mabie of Concord, and Barbara J. Mabie of Manchester, Paternal grandparents, Norman H. and Barbara A. Mabie of Claremont, NH, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut St. The funeral liturgy will be on Wednesday, March 8, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 575 Candia Road. Rev. Msgr. Anthony R. Frontiero will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery
