Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother gently returned home to be united with his daughter, parents and other family members April 8, 2006. Doug was born May 26, 1922 with his twin brother in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry E. Mabey and Laurette Rogerson. Doug was passionate about the Boy Scouts of America. He designed and supervised the construction of the East Fork of the Bear Boy Scout Camp. He was awarded the Silver Beaver Award for his extensive service to the Boy Scouts. Doug has been a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints serving in many positions including high councils, bishoprics, high priest group leader and was dedicated to teaching gospel principles.
