- Services will be Friday at Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home here [Clay Center] for Mrs. Maude M. Halovaty, 72, Santa Monica, Calif., who died Sunday, July 11, 1971 at Santa Monica.
She was born July 23, 1898 at Green in Clay County and lived at Santa Monica about 40 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was married to Edward Halovaty. He survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Raymond Lindner, Santa Monica, Calif., and Clayton Lindner, Monterey Park, Calif.; her stepfather and stepmother, Mr. & Mrs. Will Vittitoe, Clay Center; 3 brothers, Ralph Mabie, Green; Howard Mabie, Fort Lupton, Colo., and Donald Mabie, address unavailable; 2 sisters, Mrs. Edith Martin, Manhattan and Mrs. Margaret Hart, Westmoreland; and a stepsister, Mrs. Arlene O'Donnell, Clay Center.
Burial will be in Green Cemetery northeast of Clay Center
