- Kenneth Vincent, 58, of 10 Gleason road, Scotia, died Saturday at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Albany county, Mr. Vincent had resided in Scotia for the past 23 years. He was at one time employed by the Burnt Hills Hardware Store and operated the Burnt Hills filling station until February of this year, when he retired, due to ill health.
Mr. Vincent was a member of East Glenville fire department; the United Commercial Travelers and Glenville Republican club. He was a Republican committeeman for district 17 and was a past master of Glenridge Grange.
Survivors Include his wife, Mrs. Ethel M. Mabee Vincent; a daughter. Mrs. Donald Van Wie of Jonesville; a sister, Mrs. Alfred Livingston, and a brother, Charles Vincent, both of Schenectady; three other brothers, Leland Vincent of Albany, Harold Vincent of Tucson, Ariz., and Roy Vincent of Scotia; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. from the Mabee and Berning funeral home, Scotia, by Rev. H. Clayton Ackley of Burnt Hills Methodist Church. The .funeral home will be open tonight after 7 o'clock. Interment will be in Park cemetery, Scotia.

- Miss Ethel Mabee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Mabee of 301 First street, and Kenneth Vincent of New York city, were married Sunday afternoon at the Methodist parsonage by Rev. William T. Wees. The bridesmaid was Miss Benlta Vincent, a sister of the bridegroom, and Charles Vincent, Jr., a brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. The couple were the recipients of many gifts. A wedding supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent left Monday for New York, where they will make their home. Mr. Vincent is manager of one of the Woolworth stores in New York.
