  	Miss Margaret Scanlon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Scanlon of Philadelphia, became the bride of Roger W. Mabie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace C. Mabie of Port Ewen, this morning in the chapel of the Riverside Church, New York city. The Rev. Dr. C. Ivar Hellstrom officiated. The bride wore a short wedding gown of white organdy trimmed with panels of baby lace and tucking. Bands of the same trimming were repeated on bouffant puff sleeves. A cap of organdy tiers held a veil of tulle which fell to the shoulders in front and to the waist in back. She carried a dainty arrangement of white phalaenopsis with pale undertones of delicate blue delphinium. Miss Nancy Hyatt of New York was the bride's only attendant. Harold Ferguson of Henderson Harbor, served as best man. The ushers were Charles M. Miller, Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Robert A. Peattie, Jr., of New York Mrs. Mabie attended Rosemont College, Rosemont, Pa. and the New York School of Retailing. She is head of the fashion department of Berkshire Knitting Mills, Reading, Pa. and New York. Mr. Mabie was graduated from Syracuse University class of '40 , and the graduate school of business administration, Harvard University. At Syracuse he was a member of Delta Upsilon, and president of t the senior class. During World War 2, he served with the U. S. Navy as commanding officer of the USS PC-111 and USS PC-874, and holds the rank of lieutenant commander in the Naval Reserve. Mr. Mabie is assistant treasurer of the Island Dock Company, this city
