Patricia S. Boulette, 90, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Henry Boulette, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, June 22, 2026.
Born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada, on February 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Martha (Casey) Mabey. Patricia arrived 10 minutes after her identical twin sister, Pauline. When she was five years old, the family moved from Calais, Maine, to the newly built Charter Oak Terrace community in Hartford, Connecticut, where she grew up.
On April 28, 1956, she married the love of her life, Henry Boulette. Together they settled in Enfield in 1959, where they raised their four children and created a home that would become the heart of the family for generations.
Patricia worked for many years at Aetna, retiring in September 2001. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, and cheering on her beloved Patriots. For many years, she chased the sunshine as a snowbird in Florida, and especially looked forward to summer vacations along the Connecticut shoreline and cruises with family and friends. Yet, no matter the destination, her favorite place in the world was simply wherever her family happened to be.
Known for her gentle nature, selfless spirit, and devotion to those she loved, Patricia found her ultimate life's purpose in her roles as Mom, Grandma, and GiGi. Nothing mattered more to her than spending time with her family, and she took immense pride in each generation that followed her.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry, in 1983, and by her lifelong partner-in-crime and identical twin sister, Pauline Giuliano, in 2024.
Her beautiful legacy lives on through the family who will forever cherish her memory: her children, Michael Boulette (Michelle) of Torrington, Ken Boulette (Maria) of Enfield, Cathy Pliszka (Bob) of Windsor, and Don Boulette of Enfield; her grandchildren, Desiree, Nicholas, Joseph, Jonathan, Allisa, Jennifer, Heather, Rachel, and Matthew; her great-grandchildren, Maya, Caleb, Alexis, Sophia, Brody, Alice, Banks, Charli, Eleanor, and upcoming arrival, Meadow; her brother, Paul Mabey (Chris) of Wethersfield; her sister, Marie Ferony (Joe) of Glastonbury; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
