- Gregory Alvin MaBee Sr., 55, of LaVale, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at his home.
Born Dec. 21, 1955, in Cumberland, Mr. MaBee was the son of the late Howard Deline MaBee and Fannie Jewell (Dotson) MaBee. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Michael MaBee and Gary Kelly MaBee.
Greg was owner and operator of Greg's Auto Sales in Keyser, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kit E. MaBee; his sons, Greg A. MaBee and his wife, Kristen and Adam S. MaBee, all of LaVale; his brother, Howard MaBee and his wife, Donna; his sisters, Beverly Deremer, Christina Gunning and Cindy Brotemarkle, all of Cumberland; and his grandsons, Carter MaBee and Grason MaBee.

- Fannie Jewell MaBee, 86, of Frostburg, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born June 24, 1926, in Hanover, Pa., Mrs. MaBee was the daughter of the late Jasper Hobson Dotson and Nannie Lou (Wolfe) Dotson. She was also preceded in death by three sons, David, Greg MaBee, and Gary Kelley.
A clerk for Allegany Liquors, Fannie is survived by her daughters, Beverly Dermer; Christina Gunning, both of Cumberland; and Cynthia Brotemarkle, with whom she resided, Frostburg; and her son, Howard MaBee and wife, Donna, Cumberland.
Services will be private and at a later date.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation and kindness for the social life and loving care she received at the WMHS-Dialysis Department.

Howard D. MaBee Jr., 75, of Cumberland, MD died November 16, 2025 with his family by his side at UPMC Western Maryland.
He was born February 12, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Howard D. and Jewel MaBee Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gregory MaBee, David MaBee, and Gary Kelly. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Donna M. MaBee; three sisters, Beverly MaBee, Cynthia Brotemarkle, and Christine Gunning; a daughter, Megan Hildebrandt and husband Randy of Baltimore, MD; a son, Charles R. Pennell III and fiancée Karyn Scadden of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Savannah Fuller, Noah Pennell, Kendall Pennell, Marissa Martz; numerous nieces annd nephews; and a longtime friend of the family and caretaker, Missy Martz.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era, serving from 1968 to 1972. He retired from CSX Corp with 28 years of service in the Philadelphia area.
Howard enjoyed being outdoors camping and animals, especially his cat, Sandy and his late poodle, Gabby.
