- Benjamin H Mabie, 87, of Pine Beach, passed away Sunday, July 2 at home. He was born in November 1919 in Livingston. He and his wife Sybil L Mabie, moved to Pine Beach in 1946. He served in the Army and later served the public by holding various state and local government positions. He also was a successful businessman. He was a devoted family man and served the public well. He would help those who called upon his services in any way he could. He will be loved and greatly missed.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lisa Mabie; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Christine Mabie; daughter-in-law, Barbara Mabie; five grandchildren, Candace, Benjamin, Michael, Cary and Lindsay; four great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Marissa, Dean and Hakon; sister-in-law, Ada Mabie; sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Robert Heuer of Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services to be announced. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.

- Sybil L Mabie, 85, of Pine Beach, passed away Sunday, July 2 at home. She was born in February 1921 in Jersey City. She and her husband Benjamin H Mabie, moved to Oine Beach in 1946. There, she was a devoted wife and mother and an active member of the community. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toms River. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and various other volunteer organizations. She gained great satisfaction helping anyone in need. She will be loved and greatly missed.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lisa Mabie; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Christine Mabie; daughter-in-law, Barbara Mabie; five grandchildren, Candace, Benjamin, Michael, Cary and Lindsay; four great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Marissa, Dean and Hakon; sister, Ada Mabie of Pine Beach, sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Robert Heuer of Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
