- Services for Lola E. Mabie, 87, of Little Bear Route north of Cheyenne, will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1992, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes by Rev. Darrell Dennis. Burial was in the Wheatland Cemetery.
Mrs. Mabie died Sept. 3, 1992, at her home. She was born April 22, 1905, in Reamsville, Kan., to John E. and Winnie E. Faris. She came to Wyoming in 1907 with her parents who homesteaded in the Carpenter area. She attended school at West Pawnee.
On Nov. 3, 1923, she married Emile E. Lacy, and he died June 13, 1947. She then married Harold Mabie of Chugwater on Sept. 24, 1948, and he died Feb. 22, 1980. Mrs. Mabie made her home in Chugwater and Little Bear.
Survivors include three daughters; Loreen Stephan and Betty Collins of Cheyenne and Vina Cook of Lusk; three sisters; Vera Christensen of Cheyenne, Irma Mitchell of Colville, Wash., and Audrey Penwell of Evens, Wash.; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Besides two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jack E. Lacy in 1966; one brother, Johnny Faris; one sister, Eva Cox and one grandchild.
