Born on April 20, 1947 in Gowanda, New York he was the son of the late Harold and Corrine Blackchief Maybee. He was married to the former Patricia Reiller who survives. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam War and was awarded the purple heart. Mr. Maybee enjoyed music. He was a song writer, poet, and a sport's fan.
