  	Caroline A. (Richards) Mabee, 75, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Community Hospital in Toms River with her family by her side. Caroline was born in Belleville to the late Thomas and Margaret Richards. She has resided in Whiting for the past 25 years. She was employed by Crestwood Village VI as their Bookkeeper retiring last August. She loved driving, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Caroline loved all animals, especially frogs. Caroline is predeceased by her husband, William B. Mabee and her brother-in-law, Charles Heitmeyer. Caroline is survived by her son, William and his wife Angel of Wilmington, NC; 4 daughters, Marjorie Akkerhuis and her husband Hendrik of Newton, NJ; Colleen Hersey of Whiting, NJ; Billie Jean Moroz and her husband Douglas of Parsippany, NJ; Leora Wilson and her husband Robert of Vorhees, NJ; a sister, Leora Heitmeyer of Pittston, PA; also 8 grandchildren, Caitlin, Lia, William, Lauren, Ryan, Robert M., Robert W. and Aiden. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 10 am in the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27) Metuchen. Visitation will be on Thursday from 7-9 pm and also on Friday from 9:30 am to the time of service. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Gill Lane, Iselin

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Caroline Mabee, and her brother, William Mabee. Colleen’s memory will be cherished by her surviving sisters and their husbands; Peggy and Henk, Billie Jean and Doug, Leora and Rob and sister in law Angel, as well as her nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Lia, Lauren, Robby, William, Ryan, Robby and Aiden.
