- Glen Miller Mabey, age 87, passed away November 4th 2014 at his home in Orem. He was born February 5th 1927 in Provo to John James Nusink and Daisy Irvine. Due to his mothers poor health, Glen was raised by his uncle and aunt, Albert Mabey and Aileen Nusink Mabey. He attended schools in Provo, graduating from Provo High. During WWII he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served as a Radioman/Gunner on various aircraft. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, where he studied accounting. He married Shirley Bullock of Provo and they had one son. They were later divorced. He had an accounting business in Provo for over 50 years.
He is survived by his son: Michael Green (Debi), three grandchildren: Lyndsey Green, Christopher Green (Allison), Marissa Perry, (Richard), honorary granddaughter: Alta Harr, and two great-grandchildren: Eleanor and Adeline Green.
A viewing will be held on Monday, November 10 at the Berg Mortuary 185 East Center St. Provo, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., with the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery.
