  	1 Mar 1999, The Mail Tribune (Medford, OR) Norman Edison Burke, 86, died Friday (Feb. 26, 1999) at Providence Medford Medical Center. No service is planned. He was born May 10, 1912 in Portland. Mr. Burke attended the University of Oregon, where he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity, before coming to the Rogue Valley more than 50 years ago. He was one of the top salesmen at Skinner Buick Cadillac for 17 years before retiring. Mr. Burke enjoyed playing golf at Rogue Valley Country Club. Survivors include Irene Cochran Burke, his wife of almost 60 years; a son, James Burke, Jacksonville; a brother, Donald Burke, San Rafael, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
