  	William Mabie, practically a life-long resident of this village, died very suddenly early Monday morning, aged 81 years. Mr. Mabie was born in the town of Grove, Dec 23, 1840, and served as a private in Co. F 24th Regt, Michigan Infantry during the Civil war. Since this time he has conducted a photograph gallery on East Main up till failing health, a short time ago made it necessary for him to retire. The funeral was held at the home on East Main Street last Wednesday afternoon
