- Robert W. Seaman, 82, of Port St. Lucie died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996, in Columbia Medical Center-Port St. Lucie.
A native of Pompton Plains, N.J., he lived in Port St. Lucie for seven years. He moved here from Brick, N.J.
Before retirement, he was a construction supervisor for U.S. Homes Corp., Freehold, N.J., for 14 years.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach.
He was a member of Pacquenac Tennis Club and the Police Athletic League Football Club, both in Pompton Plains.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Margaret Seaman of Port St. Lucie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jacqueline Seaman of Lakewood, N.J., and Donald and Diana Seaman of Seaside Park, N.J.; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Charles Bosco of Jensen Beach; a brother, Richard H. Seaman of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a sister, L. Miriam Decker of Pequannock, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Rynne will officiate.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery , Jensen Beach
