- Charles R Hunt, 80 died Thursday in Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains.
Born in Sloatsburg, NY, he was a resident of Pompton Lakes for many years. Before retiring in 1963, he was employed as a custodian for the borough for 10 years.
Mr Hunt was an Army and Navy veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Mabie, and a brother, Andrew of Waldwick.
Services were yesterday in the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale. Burial will be in the Reformed Church Cemetery.
