- Jennie Ricks, 79, died Thursday at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock.
Born in Pompton Lakes, she was a lifelong resident and member of the Pompton Reformed Church. He husband George died in 1954.
She is survived by a son, George of Kinnelon; three daughters, Anita Lazerine, Alice and Pearl, all of Pompton Lakes; four sisters, Margaret Hunt of Waldwick, Eva Mabie of Vernon, Nettie Gildersleeve, Edith Hunt, both of Pompton Lakes; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.

- Arthur R Black, 77, died Saturday.
Born in Pompton Lakes, he lived there before moving here to Bloomingdale 10 years ago. Mr Black was a foreman at the Curtis-Wright Corp, Wood-Ridge.
Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Ricks, two sons, Bruce of Arizona, and Brian of Bloomingdale, a daughter, Jane Goff of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother Jay of Pompton Lakes; seven grandchildren and a great grandson.

- Alice J (Ricks) Black, 72 died Wednesday.
Born in Pompton Lakes, she lived there before moving here to Bloomingdale 11 years ago. Mrs Black, a homemaker, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women's Auxiliary, Pompton Lakes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur.
Surviving are two sons, Brian of Bloomingdale and Bruce of Mesa, Arizona, a daughter, Jane Goff of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother George Ricks of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Pearl Mazuska of Pompton Lakes and Anita Lazerine of west Milford; and seven grandchildren.
