- Doyle Arch Madle, of Alpena, passed away on Tuesday, June 21 (2011) at his home. He was 75 years old.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23 at Holt Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the Chapel. Mitchell Rains will officiate. Burial will be in the Auman Cemetery.
The son of Arch and Irene (Maybee) Madle was born on April 8, 1936, at Alpena. Doyle was a farmer and had retired from Tyson's. He was a gentle man and was never to busy to stop and talk to you. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Rhoda (Chase) Madle, of the home; sons and their wives, Chris and Cindy Madle, of Rogers, Brent Madle, of Alpena and Perry and Lori Madle, of Alpena; a daughter, Jill and her husband, Leon Moore, of Springdale; two stepchildren, Shannon and wife, Allison Green, of Harrison and Jason Green, of Mesa; one brother and his wife, Gary and Darlene Madle, of Harrison; six grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Brandi, Chance, Chelsea, and Marisa; six step-grandchildren, Cassandra, Halley, John, Michael, Grace and Mark; and five great-grandchildren.
A gathering at the Alpena Pass Café will follow after services on Friday

- Arch Madle, aged 82, of Route 1, Alpena, AR died Saturday, February 1 at his home. He was born July 28, 1909 at Compton, a son of George and Mary Rovis Madle.
He was a farmer and a resident of Boone County.
He was survived by his wife, Irene Mabee Madle of the home; two sons, Doyle Madle of Alpena and Gary Madle of Harrison; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, at Auman Church with Johnny Parton officiating. Burial was in Auman Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
Pallbearers were Bill Webb, Kenneth Bailey, Darrell Hulsey, Kreg Leefon, Bill Henson and Monty Madden.
