  Anecdote	It appears that this man assumed Charles Byron Mabee and Marie Evelyn Collins's son, William Alfred Mabee's identity after William was dead, because five years after Willie's burial in the family plot at Monteagle Cemetery, there is this record: "William Alfred Mabee, 29, a Single Butcher of Santa Barbara, born in Tennessee to Charles Mabee and Martha Collins; married Lottie D Borgo, 19, a Single Housekeeper of Santa Barbara, born in California to William Borgo and Isabel Romero; on 17 February 1909 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Santa Barbar.a"This William died, without issue in 1937. He had been a neighbor of Charles and Marie' son, James Aaron in Los Angeles and may have gotten the name and parents from him. He misnamed his mother as Martha in the marriage document.
