Born in Pompton Lakes, she lived in Waldwick for 57 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Waldwick Fire Department and a member of the Waldwick Senior Citizens Golden Club.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew, a daughter, Virginia Schust of Waldwick; two sisters, Nettie Gildersleeve and Edith Hunt; both of Pompton Lakes; five grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A son, Edgar died in 1949

Before retiring in 1964, he was an electrician with the Erie Railroad.
A member of the Waldwick Fire Department for 60 years, he served as chief in 1944.
He had been a crossing guard in Waldwick for 10 years, and was a member of the Waldwick Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Schust of Waldwick, and 12 grandchildren. His wife Margaret died in 1983.
Services are scheduled for July 20 at Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey, with burial in Airmont Cemetery in New York
