- On May 2, 1791, his father conveyed to him for a consideration of 70 pounds, a tract of 20.60 acres along the north side of Prospect Avenue, in what is now Park Ridge, which probably included the 3 acres formerly owned by Abraham. this was the most easterly part of the father's land to the east of his homestead. Mindert made his home here, now #285 Prospect Avenue, in the original part of the house. He sold the property to Lawrence Lockwood in 1813 and removed to Upper Preakness with his family, where he purchased the farm of John E. Merselis.

Mentions sons John (eldest), Isaac, Casparus, Myndert, Abraham and Jeremias "who is not capable of supporting himself" and daughters Gerretye, Sophia, Cathrina, Elizabeth and granddaughter Margaret (daughter of Anatie, who married Johanes Vanhorn). Not mentioned: sons Peter and Martinus.
NOTE: The published abstract of this Will does not include the name Casparus, although he is named in the written will.
