- Jacob M Frost, son of Obadiah and Phebe (Halstead) Frost, b Oct 3, 1793, d Feb 21, 1872 buried Friend's Cemetery, Battle Creek, Mich; m 1st July 16, 1817 at Peekskill, NY, Sarah b Aug 26, 1798, d New York City, Jan 6, 1830, buried Houston St, New York City, daughter of John and Elizabeth Maybe of Peekskill, NY.
From Amawalk Friend's records, dated Aug 15, 1828, Jacob with wife Sarah and four children, Hannah M, Phebe Elizabeth, John Hicks and Sally Ann, received removal certificates to New York City.
He married second Jane Ann Lockwood, daughter of Walter and Martha (Haight) Lockwood, on 12 Mar 1834. Their children were Walter L., Mary L. Walter L., Mary Amelia, and Henrietta. Jacob was buried in the Friends Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI.
From New York he received removal certificate March 3, 1939 to Milton, Mich.

Frost was deceased leaving four children: Hannah Matilda Mott, Phebe Elizabeth Cox[Cock], Sarah Ann Cox[Cock] and John Hix Frost; daughters Eliza Hadley and Deborah Mabie were both deceased without heirs; son Elias H. Mabie was also deceased leaving two children: Elizabeth Alice Mabie and Isaac Martling Mabie; daughters Catherine F. Timberlake, Susan M. Carpenter and Hannah H. Jones were living and each had unnamed children. Also mentioned was grandson Charles Gray Carpenter, and sons-in-law Walter Carpenter and Jonathan Hadley.
