  	Archibald D Templeton, 31, of 66 Hamilton Avenue, Passaic, died last evening at the Beth Israel Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Death was caused by complications. Born in Scotland, he came to this country 20 years ago and was employed in the hose department of the U S Rubber for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Nellie Templeton; twp step-children, Elizabeth and Eleanor; two brothers Samuel of Passaic; and Robert of Scotland; one sister, Mrs Sadie McNeil of Joliet, Ill; and his parents, Mr and Mrs Robert Templeton, Sr of Scotland. Funeral Services will be held Thursday with the Rev A L Frez, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Lodi Cemetery.

  	Mrs Elizabeth Knops Kilpatrick, 37, wife of Harold Kilpatrick, Sr, 119½ Madison St, died Saturday in Beth Israel Hospital, Passaic, following a long illness. Born in Garfield, Mrs Kilpatrick had resided 37 years in this city. She had been married 20 years this past Christmas. She was an officer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Clifton Moose Lodge. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs Frederick (Betty Ann) Ridig of Lodi; three sons, Harold Jr, William and Russell Dow, all at home; one grandchild; her father, Leonard Knops; her mother Mrs Nellie Lyons of this city and a sister, Mrs John (Eleanor) Koney of Wallington. Services will be held tomorrow.

  	Mrs Nellie Lyons, 60, of 44 Monroe St, died yesterday at Beth Israel Hospital. Born in Garfield, she had lived in the Passaic-Garfield area all her life and was formerly employed at the U S Rubber plant in Passaic. Surviving are her husband Edward; two daughters, Mrs Thomas (Arlene) McCormack of Passaic, and Mrs John (Eleanor) Kony of Wallington; two sisters, Mrs Ida Passage of Clifton and Mrs Lillian Dates of Passaic; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday. -- correction - Mrs Edward Lyons, 44 Monroe St, who died Wednesday at Beth Israel Hospital is survived by eight grandchildren – not four as reported Thursday – and two great-grandchildren.

  	Teaneck – Funeral Services were held today for Leonard W Knops, a retired accountant, of 1161 Katherine St, who died Tuesday at Holy Name Hospital. Born in Germany, he came to this country as an infant and had lived in the Passaic-Clinton area for many years. He was employed as an office manager for the William Gelger Tool and Manufacturing Co, Passaic. He was past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge 1569, Clinton. Surviving are his wife, the former Marie van Loan; a brother Edward of Wayne; a sister, Mrs Gertrude Frankovic of Clifton; a daughter Mrs John (Phoebe) Koney of Wallington; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

  	Wallington – Phoebe (Knops) Koney, 77, died Sunday. Born in Passaic, she moved here 57 years ago. Mrs Koney was a machine operator at Berlen & Jones Co, East Rutherford, for 25 years before retiring in 1989. She was a parishioner of Wallington Presbyterian Church, a member of the Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Fire Department Ladies Guild and a former crossing guard. She was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Fitzpatrick. Surviving are her husband, John Sr, and three sons, John Jr of Ringwood, Ronald of Cedar Grove and Joseph of Wallington; a daughter Susan Ivanicki of Wallington; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Kamienski Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.

  	Leonard Knops, of Garfield, who charged that Nellie Knops, immediately following their marriage, Aug 11, 1921, began to "run around" with other men, kicked, punched, and best him and neglected to care for their two children, Elizabeth and Eleanor, now three and two years of age respectively, had an interlocutory degree of divorce recommended for him by Vice-Chancellor Vivian M Lewis in chancery court yesterday on the grounds of extreme cruelty. Mrs Knops denied her husband's charge of extreme cruelty and counterclaimed a dissolution of their marriage upon the same grounds, but her counterclaim was dismissed.
