- Salvation Army memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Citadel, Second and Bagley, for Mrs Beulah Eva Wilson Rahn, Army youth leader, who died Thursday.
Col. T. M. Larsen will pay tribute to Mrs Rahn at the special service. Officiating will be Maj. Clyde J. Cox. He body will lie in state from 10 a.m.
Mrs Rahn has been ill two months. She was publication sergeant in charge of the War Cry, the Army periodical, and a leader in the Girl Guards and Black Arrow organizations.
Her interest in the Black Arrow honorary society had raised the local Wolverine Chapter to national prominence, Maj. Cox said.
Born in Norfolk County, Ont, Mrs Rahn, 46, of 2135 Baldwin, had lived in Detroit 17 years. She became a member of the Salvation Army in 1933, after years of interest in the organization.
Surviving are her husband, Harry; two children, Mrs Edith Ward and Harry Rahn, her parents, Mr and Mrs James Wilson, a brother and seven sisters.
Burial will be in the Salvation Army plot in Royal Oak Cemetery.
