- Pearl M. Leedham, who operated a Clinton clothing store for many years, died Thursday at Connecticut Hospice in Branford at the age of 82.
She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and lived in Clinton since 1951. For the past 30 years she owned and operated Leedham's Ladies and Children Wear in Clinton.
Leedham lived at 32 E. Main St, Clinton, and was the widow of William L. Leedham.
Besides her son Don F. Leedham of Regina Saskatchewan, Canada, she leaves two daughters; Ruby Fowler of Castine, Maine and Marjorie Drager of Old Saybrook, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at the Swan Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Indian River Cemetery, Clinton. (Col1)
Pearl (Mabee) Leedham, 82, of 32 E. Main St, Clinton, died Thursday (Dec 19) at Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Wilbert L Leedham. She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Feb 18, 1903, daughter of the late William F. And Mary (McLean) Mabee. She had lived in Clinton since 1951, and for past 30 years she owned and operated Leedham's Ladies and Children Wear in Clinton. She is survived by a son, Don F. Leedham of Regina Saskatchewan, Canada, two daughters; Mrs Ruby Fowler of Castine, Maine and Mrs Marjorie Drager of Old Saybrook, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded by a son, Kenneth C. Leedham. Funeral services will be Saturday at the Swan Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Indian River Cemetery, Clinton. (Col 3 under death notices)

- Donald Francis Leedham passed away at the age of 80 years, on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Regina, Sk. Don was born on August 11, 1931 in Halifax, NS and came to Saskatchewan to become a member of the RCMP, where he greatly served 30 years in Regina, Ottawa and Yellowknife. Don's passion was music and played with the RCMP band travelling across Canada. He loved nature and the outdoors, gardening, fishing and camping. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother and his beloved wife Betty-Anne Leedham. Survived by and greatly missed by his three daughters, Karen (Garth); Donna (Phil) and Christine; along with eight grandchildren Tina (Calvin), Charlotte (Milton) and Dustin, Bettyanne, Amie and Richard; Jena and Brooke; and great-grandchildren Ethan, Ryder, Jackson and Kayden; and his dearest sister Marjorie and family (Connecticut).Funeral Service and interment will be held at the RCMP Chapel, RCMP Academy, 'Depot' Division, Regina, SK on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
