  	Gary M. Wise, 68, of Peoria passed away at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. He was born April 11, 1941, in Deer Creek, the son of Darroll M. and Alice (Kennedy) Wise. He married Doris Gebhardt. She preceded him in death on Jan. 7, 1995. He later married Crystal Holland and she preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his father and one sister, Janet Bays. His mother passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010. He is survived by three daughters, Peggy A. Wise of Peoria, Barbara L. (Scott) Jacobs of Peoria and Jenniffer A. (Jonathan) DeMaster of Waukegan; one son, Norman D. Wise of Washington; six grandchildren, Laura E. (Terry) Tweed, Brandon C. Wolstenholme, David M. Kelly, Elizabeth A. Wise, David Asher and Nathan Wise; two great-grandchildren, Aliciah and Charles Tweed; one brother, Duane (Jan) Wise of North Carolina; and two sisters, Vivian (C.A.) Lehmann of Island Lake and Eleanor (Rick) Dwyer of East Peoria. Gary was an Army veteran. He worked for 33 years at Keystone Steel & Wire Co., retiring in 2001. He was a member of AMVETS. He played on two pool leagues, winning a trip to Las Vegas to play in the APA tournament in 2008, and enjoyed fixing lawn mowers and cars. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, with the Rev. John Bunch officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Deer Creek. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
  Witness-Obituary	Peoria - Crystal "Chris" A. Wise, 47, of Peoria passed away at 4:07 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at OSF St. Clare Home in Peoria Heights. Crystal was born in Peoria on Dec. 3, 1962, a daughter of Rollie L. and Virginia L. (Paul) Waldron. They preceded her in death. She married Densil E. Holland in 1978, and they later divorced. She married Gary M. Wise on March 17, 2001, in Peoria. He survives. She is also survived by her son, Kevin Hollinsaid of Colorado; daughters, Kelly (Patrick) Partin-Wilson of Dalzell and Megan Partin of Princeton; brothers, Mike Waldron of Creve Coeur and Larry (Patty) Waldron of East Peoria; sisters, Teri (Mike) Miller of Farmington and Charlotte Lopeman of Pekin; three granddaughters; stepchildren, Peggy, Barbara, Norman, Jeniffer and Michele; eight stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Crystal was formerly employed at the Community Bingo Center in Peoria and attended the First Baptist Church of East Peoria. She was an accomplished pool player, playing on teams in the Abraham, Shooters and APA pool leagues. She was an MVP in the Abraham Pool League and won a trip to the Las Vegas Championship for the APA Pool League. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Clary Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave., Peoria, with Pastor John Bunch officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Deer Creek. Memorial contributions may be made in Crystal's memory to the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery Program in Peoria.
