  	James Mitchell Maybee of Buffalo, died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Gowanda Nursing Home in Gowanda, NY. He was born August 14, 1949 in Irving, NY, the son of the late Alexander and Helen (Jimmerson) Maybee. James, Heron Clan, was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and a member of several veteran organizations. He is survived by his sons, Shilo J. Maybee and James M. Maybee, Jr.; his daughters, Shavonne K. Space and Yvonne Maybee; his brother Wilber Seneca; his sisters, Lana VanEvery, Alexis Jamieson, and Madeline Graham. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine M. Hoffmire, Myrna R. Maybee, and Karen (Annie) Keyes. Visitation will be held at HILLS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 255 Aldrich Street, Gowanda, NY today from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 at 11 AM at the residence of Joyce Gates, 12673 Route 438, Irving, NY. Clayton Logan will be officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Nation's Cemetery.
